One Month to PlayStation Experience

We’re a month out from PlayStation Experience in San Francisco. I’ve already written how much last year’s trip meant to me. The excitement of this trip is only surpassed by the fact that I’ll also be playing Fallout 4 in less than a week.

I already know that this year’s Experience is going to be a vastly different one for me, regardless of the changes Sony is implementing. Last year, I had a very solitary experience. I didn’t know anybody else there. I stayed in a hotel room by myself. I wasn’t there too meet people. I was there to celebrate PlayStation, play some games, and listen to some panels.

Since then, I’ve become deeply involved in the Kinda Funny community, making friends online left and right. This year, I’ll be staying in a room with 5 other Kinda Funny Best Friends (only one of whom I’ve met in person) . I’m in for a much more social experience this time around and I’m excited for that.

I’m gonna get to spend a weekend with a lot of friends I’ve made in the past year despite having an entirely digital relationship and I’m excited to share all of our inside jokes and passions with one another face to face.

I’ve also spent the past year cultivating an online presence and correspondence with various editors and personalities. Not just the Kinda Funny guys, but also people from IGN and Gamespot. I can’t wait to be bold enough to share moments with them too.

See you in a month San Francisco!
